Real Madrid star Martin Odegaard has dropped a transfer request with the midfielder keen on leaving the club this month.
Odegaard was at his best with Real Sociedad last season and he was recalled back to Real Madrid only to be dropped on the bench with no game time extremely limited under Zinedine Zidane.
Odegaard was dropped for the clash against Alcoyano in the Copa del Rey, Zidane wants the midfielder in the team in case there is a need of shortage of midfielders.
Zidane has not seen Odegaard as a core player in the team with the likes of Toni Kroos, Luka Modric, Casemiro and Fede Valverde above the Norweigan in the pecking order in the midfield.
Real Madrid has completed the signing of David Alaba from Bayern Munich he will join at the end of the current campaign.
