Jesse Lingard has joined Nottingham Forest as a free agent.
The 29-year-old on Thursday, put pen to paper on a one-year contract with the Premier League newcomers.
This was confirmed by The Athletic.
Lingard has completed medical and signed a short-term contract.
The former Manchester United midfielder will travel with Nottingham to Germany on Friday for their pre-season friendly against Union Berlin.
Lingard had been in talks to rejoin West Ham following an impressive loan spell in 2021.
But it is understood that an out-of-the-blue bid from Forest turned his head towards the City Ground.
