Liverpool star Andy Robertson has blasted Atletico Madrid star after the 1-0 defeat in the Champions League round of 16 first leg at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium on Tuesday evening.
Atletico Madrid scored an early goal via Saul Niguez and Diego Simeone’s men held to the loan goal in the entire 90 minutes and in the process, the home team shut down Liverpool attack.But Robertson has reminded the Spaniards that they will have to finish off the tie at a raucous Anfield on March 11.
Liverpool maintained a perfect record in the Premier League as they are yet to suffer any defeat so far in the domestic scene but it appears that the Champions League is a different ball game when they face Atletico Madrid as both teams vie for a quarterfinal spot.
