Reds eager to tie down star defender
Liverpool are prioritising a new deal for Virgil van Dijk over Mohamed Salah, according to Eurosport.
The Premier League champions want to tie the Dutchman down to fresh terms before opening renewal talks with their talismanic forward, who has been linked with an Anfield exit.
Van Dijk, who is currently out of action with a serious knee injury, has two years left to run on his current contract.
