The M2 motorway southbound remains closed between Templepatrick and Sandyknowes following a four-vehicle crash.
Four people were taken to hospital after the crash on Sunday evening.
The ambulance service said that all four had been taken to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast.
The whole motorway was closed in both directions until Monday morning when the north-bound section reopened.
Police said diversions remain in place for those travelling south bound.
Drivers using the reopened lane have been asked to be careful, keep their distance and observe a 30mph speed limit.
