Real Madrid have not done much transfer deals this season but have focused on making money this transfer window and set to continue with raking in 30% of Real Sociedad’s imminent sale of Diego Llorente.
The Spaniard is set to make a 20 million euros move to English Premier League’s newly promoted side, Leeds United after the club agreed the fee with the La Liga side.
Interestingly, the Basques signed Llorente from Real Madrid in 2017 for six million euros and in that deal, it was agreed that Los Blancos would be entitled to 30 percent of the profit of any future sale, which works out to around four million euros.
According to reports, Real Madrid didn’t have a buyback option in the deal that was struck three years ago and Llorente have performed superbly for La Real.
Real Madrid’s total income from transfers this summer has now reached 108.5 million euros, that is if the four million euros is added.
