Manu Dibango was a Cameroonian musician, songwriter, and saxophonist. He was born on December 12, 1933, in Douala, Cameroon, and passed away on March 24, 2020, in France.
Manu Dibango was best known for his unique blend of jazz, funk, and African rhythms, which he showcased in his music. He was a prolific musician, with a career spanning over six decades, during which he released numerous albums and collaborated with many other musicians, including Fela Kuti, Herbie Hancock, and Ladysmith Black Mambazo.
