Married Man Killed While Fighting Over A Lady In Benin

A married man identified as 42-year-old Mr Dickson Igbinoba, was killed
while fighting over a lady with one Mr Osakioya Egavoen in Benin, Edo
State.

The deceased reportedly engaged in a supremacy fight, after he met he his rival at the lady’s apartment at Obasuyi Street in Egor quaters in Egor local government area of Edo state.  The married man who is said to be a father of two, was allegedly killed by one Mr. Osakioya Egavoen, a 41-year-old man with five children during the fisticuffs in the woman’s room.

It was gathered that
37-year-old Ms Osasogie Edo-Ekhator who is a mother of four children for
two other men watched on, as her lovers fought fiercely for her love.
The fight reportedly came on after the deceased who was in the lady’s
room, picked her call which came from his rival. Mr Osakioya Egavoen
allegedly drove to the lady’s residence after the call and his brief
face-off with Mr. Dickson Igbinoba, led to the death of the latter.

Mr
Osakioya Egavoen was reportedly arrested by police officers from Ogida
police station after few days of a manhunt, and it was also learnt that
his wife and children had fled their home over fear of attack by
aggrieved members of the bereaved family.

Public Relations Officer for Edo Police Command DSP Chidi Nwabuzor who
confirmed the incident, further disclosed that the sad and shameful
extramarital affairs that led to the unfortunate incident occurred about
8pm on December 27, 2018.
