Massive Fire Breaks Out At World’s Biggest Coronavirus Vaccine Facility

A really startling video footage has shown a huge fire erupting at the world’s biggest coronavirus vaccine factory, Daily Star UK reports.

Smoke can be seen filling the sky as worried onlookers watch in horror.

In another video, smoke billows out of windows in the higher levels of the building.

The blaze erupted at the Serum Institute of India (SII) in the western city of Pune earlier today (January 21).

SII is developing a vaccine developed by Oxford University and AstraZeneca for India and other low and middle-income countries.

According to the Metro, a source at the institute said the production of the Cover vaccine will not be affected.

The company has so far declined to comment.
