Glasgow Rangers assistant manager, Garry McAllister has started in clear terms that there is more to come for Super Eagles midfielder, Joe Aribo.

The 24-years old midfield choreographer made his first start against Livingston on Sunday with a ninth-minute goal to announce his return after two months in the physio room. But in an exclusive chat with Rangernews on Monday, McAllister admitted that the young was hugely missed by Rangers, adding that fit again Aribo look set to paint SPL with goals after his cameo appearances against Celtic and Standard Liege.

“We are all big fans of Joe Aribo here,” he said, as quoted by the Glasgow Times. “I think he has been missed. Visually, he looks in a good place as far as where his body shape is.”“He is in great nick. He has probably put a wee bit of muscle on his upper body.” McAllister told Rangernews on Monday.Rangers’ gaffer, Stephen Gerrard must be lauded for coping well without the young Nigerian who was adjudged as one of the club’s best players during the pre-season program. He was tipped to shoulder the club’s dream of ending Celtics’ decades of dominance until he cropped up with an ankle injury in early August.

McAllister also expressed his delight to have the midfielder back in the thick of things given the club tight schedules both at home and Europe this season.

“We expect big things from Joe. He’s a very talented player. And he can play in two or three different positions. We are pleased to get him back on the pitch.” he concluded.
