A suspected member of a robbery gang, Ayomide Adebayo got more than what he bargained for after the group robbed an eatery in Akobo, General Gas area of Ibadan, the Oyo state capital.
It was gathered that a three-man gang had stormed the eatery on Wednesday, September 8, dispossessed the owner and customers of their cash, phones, other valuables.
Luck, however, ran out on them when one of the staff resisted their attempt to pack the money in the safe box. As he was struggling with them one of them escaped and joined the motorcyclist that was already waiting outside while the other one was caught and some items recovered from him.
