Men Who Caused The Fire Inferno At FRSC Ibadan Office, Dragged To Court [See Details]

An Iyaganku Chief Magistrates’ Court sitting at Ibadan on Friday requested that three men, who purportedly burnt the Federal Road Safety Corps, (FRSC) office at Moniya, be remanded in jail.

The police charged Sherif Taofeek. 33; Abdullahi Afeez, 32, and Oni Ibrahim, 22, of undisclosed location with conspiracy, stealing, arson, assault, and receiving stolen motorcycle, as gathered.

Chief Magistrate, Mr. Emmanuel Idowu, who did not take the request of the litigants, requested that Sherif, Abdullahi and Oni be remanded in Agodi jail, pending legitimate counsel from the Oyo state Directorate of Public Prosecution.

Notwithstanding, another litigant, Segun Emmanuel, who was arraigned with the three respondents for purportedly getting stolen unregistered Bajaj cruiser, was confessed to safeguard in the aggregate of N20,000 with one surety in like entirety.

Idowu, from there on, suspended the case till May 28, for notice.

The police counsel, ASP Adewale Amos, told the court that the respondents supposedly schemed and submitted the offense of pyromania.

Amos said that the respondents and others everywhere, supposedly set the flame on the FRSC office at Moniya, Ibadan esteemed N100 million.

He claimed that the respondents likewise stole seven bikes esteemed at N1.5 million.
