N100M Lawsuit To Be Filed Against Naval Officer Who Assaulted Woman (Photos)

A N100 million law suit is set to be filed against a Naval Commodore, Gbenga Oyesotan who allegedly assaulted a woman and tortured her mercilessly because he thought she colluded with his wife who run away from their matrimonial home due to incessant domestic violence.

According to the legal counsel of the Joint Legal Action Aids (Jlaa), the Commodore pictured below led a group of armed naval ratings and stormed a beauty Saloon of the Ajayi Adesanmis at Ilupeju Rd, Oluyole Extension Ibadan, Oyo state, at about 1pm or thereabout on 25th of February, 2018 – demanding from Mrs Adesanmi the whereabouts of his estranged wife and children who fled their matrimonial home due to incessant domestic violence.

He allegedly ordered the naval ratings strip the woman Unclad and beat her up. Not satisfied, the Commodore abducted the poor woman, took her to naval base , tortured her massively and had her locked away.

Unfortunately for this Commodore, it turned out that it was a case of mistaken identity. He had thought his estranged wife had relationship with Mrs.Adesanmi. Unknown to him, she was merely a Professional Stylist who the Commodore ‘s wife patronized frequently when she was still her abusive husband.

According to reports, the Commodore has since resorted to mafia threat, intimidation, outright lies and even engaged a lawyer to further threaten legal suit against the Adesanmi to keep them from crying out for justice.

He had boasted in recorded telephone conversations that the Adesanmi could go to “hell”, that he is untouchable and above the social network of this traumatized couple.

The JLAA will be crossing legal sword with the Naval Authorities and the Commodore in a 100M Naira Law suit.

  1. if Ajayi has a case he should just go and respond to the charges of character defamation levelled against him by the naval guy in competent law court. He should stop whipping up sentiments on social media, knowing fully well that the naval guy will not be able to join issues with him on the social media.
