Davido raised N200M on his birthday when he started it as a joke asking his friends and loved one to send him N1M each.
Nigerian musician, Davido has reacted after many social media users raised alarm that the N250 million he donated to orphanages will not get to the children.
Social media users had said the money will be stolen by welfare officers and thus making his effort a waste.
Reacting, the singer said he will personally see to it that the money is given for the upkeep of the orphans.
The singer then vowed to make sure the money is not stolen and it is used to serve the needy.
