A Nigerian medical dooctor has opened up on why he abandoned medical practice for tech.
In tweets he shared, @Olawalesmd revealed that what he earned as a Medical Doctor in one year, was what he earned under a month as a Content Creator in the Tech space.
He further stated that Nigeria must build a system that properly compensates its health workers.
The Twitter user wrote;
”What I earned as a Medical Doctor in one year, I earned it under a month as a Content Creator in the Tech space. I want to see what will make me practice medicine in Nigeria again.
It wasn’t easy, trust me it’s even harder than just sitting it out in clinical medicine, but at least you get rewarded for your efforts. Nigeria must build a system that properly compensates it’s health workers
