NSCDC Parades 11 Pipeline Vandals In Delta

The NSCDC spokesman, Emeka Peters, in a statement, said the arrest was made possible because of the collaboration between the army and the NSCDC.

“According to a report by The PUNCH, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Delta State Command, has paraded 11 crude oil vandals in Asaba, the state capital.

The state Commandant, Mr Akinsanya Abiodun, who paraded the suspect on Thursday, stated that the 11 vandals were handed over to the command by the 181 Amphibious Battalion, Operation Delta Safe, Nigerian Army.

He said one of the suspects, George Umukoro, 66, engaged the services of five others, Adu Peter, 62; Luck Efekerhi, 66; Thomas Umukoro, 60; Felix Iku, 45; Efe Otoborisi, 43.

Five other suspects — Henry Oshevire, 41; Eruovuho Akparugo, 32; Sunday Godwin, 36; Igwe Shedrach, 30; Orava Adiza, 41 – were said to have transported the crude oil in Evurode, Ughelli South LGA of Delta State.
