Nsungusi Effiong Junior Was On Action As HB Køge Drew FC Fredericia

Nsungusi Effiong Junior was on action for HB køge as they traveled to Monjasa park to play against FC Fredericia which ended in a 2:2 draw.

The promising Nigerian striker who has being out of the starting lineup due to injury, got his first start against FC Fredericia and played 90 minutes.

He scored 2 goals and one was ruled for Offside. He won 16 out of 16 area duels.

Speaking to him after the match, he said:

It was an impressive match, we gave in all we got. The Team spirit was high and we where determined to take all 3 points but in football, anything is possible.

We where leading by 2 goals to nil at halftime but everything turned around in the second half after Luka Racic made an own goal, which after a goal was ruled out for offside and we got a penalty that wasn’t awarded. It ended in a 2:2 draw.

We are very much focused and have to work hard for our next match.
