Osun Gov Aspirant Ogunbiyi Dumps PDP

Ogunbiyi recently withdrew from the race for the 2022 Osun PDP governorship primaries before defecting from the party.

Dr. Akin Ogunbiyi, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party in Osun State, has dumped the party.

Ogunbiyi recently withdrew from the race for the 2022 Osun PDP governorship primaries.

He cited bias by the Dr. Iyorchia Ayu-led National Working Committee of the party.

But announcing his exit from the PDP in a letter addressed to Ayu, the chairman, Mutual Benefits Assurance, an insurance company, thanked the PDP national chairman for the “interaction and engagements within the party over the years.”
