The palace of Igwe Ifitedunu has been destroyed by fire.
The incident took place in Dunukofia local government area of Anambra State after an attack by unknown gunmen.
According to reports, gunmen stormed the palace in the early hours of today, April 26, setting it ablaze.
This attack comes barely 48 hours after gunmen also attacked the country home of the Imo state governor, Hope Uzodinma, razed vehicles, and killed two of his security personnel.
