Paris Saint-Germain has set sight on Real Madrid defender Sergio Reguilon as the Ligue 1 Champions are keen on strengthening their left-back option.

The Ligue 1 Champions are in the hunt for a left-back and they have turned their attention to Real Madrid for recruitment.

The report in Spanish AS says Paris Saint-Germain is interested in the Real Madrid full-back who is currently on loan at Sevilla.

Reguilon will return to Santiago Bernabeu after he concluded the Europa League tournament with the Sevilla.

Real Madrid has Marcelo and Ferland Mendy in the left-back position and Real Madrid has no immediate plan for the 23-year-old defender.

At the moment Real Madrid is prepared to trim their squad size to accumulate €100 million from transfer sales as they aim to raise fund this summer to finance their spending in the coming summer.

Reguilon has recorded 34 appearances in all competitions for Sevilla this season. The Spanish defender emerged as one of the most promising fullbacks in La Liga over the campaign. He totalled for six-goal contributions and a 1.47 key passes per 90 rate in league play.

PSG currently has a trio of left-back options with Juan Bernat, Mitchel Bakker and Layvin Kurzawa. Adding Reguilon to this group will only intensify competition for the starting left-back role.
