Jadon Sancho has been pictured on board a private jet.

The Dortmund star is jetting off on holiday now that the season has finished, and was joined on the aircraft by former Arsenal striker Chuba Akpom.

Sancho’s destination remains a mystery for now, and the England international will no doubt be looking forward to some rest and relaxation before the madness begins.

As things stand, Sancho is heavily linked with a move to Manchester United, and is expected to sign for the Old Trafford club this month.

The Red Devils have been quoted £100million to get the transfer over the line, which is a stumbling block, but for now, United remain the favourites for his signature.

According to Kicker, Sancho likes the idea of signing for Jurgen Klopp’s side – much more than he does joining a team led by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

The reason for this, it is claimed, is that Sancho is of the belief that he’ll win silverware at Liverpool, whereas at United it could take a few seasons.

Currently, the Reds are holding Premier League and Champions League champions.

Manchester United, on the other hand, are a team in transition, and it will be some time before the Red Devils are challenging either Man City or Liverpool for domestic honours.

Sancho recently spoke out about his future, but was quite vague.

“I don’t know what to say to that. It’s hard to say. That’s the future,” he said. “You never know what could happen, so we will wait and see.”

Liverpool’s biggest stumbling block, like United’s, is Sancho’s price tag.

The coronavirus pandemic means clubs around the world are tightening their belts, with Liverpool recently having to give up on trying to sign Timo Werner.

What’s more, Klopp appears happy with the team at his disposal.

He recently said: “The solution cannot be to have a much bigger squad for the specific moment and then realise you cannot use all the players.

“They are all human beings and nobody can be held back for a year and then on the last day of the year be told, ‘Now we need you.’

“It is really difficult to judge the future. Usually we know what funds we have, but it is all uncertain. Can you count on the money of the Champions League, Premier League, and what will it be?

“We have to consider that, because we are responsible not only for the success of the club, but everyone who works here. So we have to wait. We have a really good squad.”
