The suspects were led by one Mohammed Hula, a 20-year-old man who had been on the wanted list of the Police.
Officers of the Nasarawa Police Command have arrested three suspects who allegedly kidnapped the wife of one Ibrahim Sarkinnana at Ayongo village in the Awe Local Government Area of the state.
The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, ASP Ramhan Nansel said “As soon as we got the information about the kidnap of the woman, the Commissioner of Police, CP Adesina Soyemi directed some officers of the command to go after the suspected kidnappers and they were able to arrest the suspects at their hideout.
“The suspects were led by one Mohammed Hula, a 20-year-old man who had been on the wanted list of the Police for sometime now”, he added.
While warning all criminal elements to flee Nasarawa state without further delay, ASP Nansel said that the Commissioner of Police, CP Adesina Soyemi has directed that the cases should be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department in Lafia before charging the suspects to court.
