The new Inspector General of Police, Adamu Mohammed has received a delegation from Messengers of Peace Foundation, led by Dr. Suleiman Adejo, the National President in a warm and confident manner.
The visit to IGP by Messengers of Peace Foundation was to decorate him as a member of the organisation and also

the overall preparedness of the Nigeria police ahead of 2019 general
elections coming up soon. Fortunately, their intentions were confidently
renewed as IGP Adamu Mohammed promised to maintain and promote peace
prior to the elections and after.
Before now, Messengers of
Peace have remained one of the outstanding NGOs that have continued to
promote peace across Nigeria. The foundation has demonstrated it’s
capacity through it’s annual event on peace and national development.
The
PRO, Chief Agility Nwaora stressed on the readiness of Messengers of
Peace to collaborate with the Nigeria Police in the securing a peaceful
atmosphere during the elections.
However, the peace agency is set
to host it’s National Peace Award in Abuja. An event that records one
of the most impressive award ceremony in Nigeria.
