Police launch investigation after Abuja hospital allegedly rejects 'one-chance' victim

The Federal Capital Territory Police Command announced on Saturday that it has launched an investigation into claims that Greatness Olorunfemi, a young woman who was an Abuja victim of “one-chance” scammers, died because Maitama General Hospital staff allegedly refused to treat her because they had not received a police report.

The hospital in Abuja’s Maitama neighborhood allegedly requested a police report before treatment could begin, according to an X user named @Gbemilekhe who tweeted the news on Friday. He also noted that Miss Olorunfemi tragically passed away shortly after.

More information about the tragic occurrence was supplied by another X user, @Nwaadaz, who claimed to be a friend of the deceased Olorufemi. He revealed that Olorunfemi was stabbed by some assailants and bled to death after the hospital turned her away.
