Queen Precious Emerges As The Face Of Idoma Tourism 2017/2018 (See Photos)
Idoma people are very warm, hospitable, industrious, Peace loving who have contributed immensely to the growth and development of Benue State and Nigeria at large. They have put Benue State and Nigeria on the global map because of the great contributions of the sons and daughters of the land have made in all spheres of human endeavors.
Majority of Idoma people are found in the nine local governments of what is politically known as Benue south senatorial district or Zone C. Idoma people are also in some parts of Nasarawa State, Cross rivers and other parts of Nigeria.
The Face of Idoma Tourism seeks to identify, expose and sell the tourism potential of the land to the world. This is because tourism is a money spinner with billions of dollars in revenue for countries that have fully developed or developing sector. The Owukpa coal mines, the och’Idoma’s palace, the water falls and the beautiful hills and scenery in Oju, the Otukpo burnt bricks, the beautiful hotels and resorts just to mention a few are great potentials of properly harnessed can bring visitors to the land , thereby generating revenue and great employment for our teeming youth.
WHAT I TEND DOING DURING MY REIGN
I am from Ogbadibo Local Government Area of Benue State as the new Face of Idoma tourism, I tend to visit schools in the rural areas to help and supply learning equipment as well as to support their fees to the less privileged ones in the schools who can’t afford their up-keeps…
