Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford and Davido included in the top 100 most influential people in 2021, according to TIME magazine.

The 23-year-old England international was given the honour after his unprecedented campaign to provide free school meals for children in the UK, while Atalanta-born Nigerian singer is one of the biggest voices in Afrobeats in the African continent with songs connects with people around the globe.

Rashford will be preparing as his Manchester United side facing Real Sociedad in the first leg of the last 32 of the Europa League on Thursday took his Twitter to reacts to news after he was named along with Davido and many high-profile celebrities.

Davido breaks another record as his hit song “If” just got certified Gold in the United State of America by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

This makes it the second time the Afrobeat heavyweight solo single is getting a gold certification in the USA after his hit track “Fall” went gold in May 2020.

Other high-profile inclusions you might recognise include two other Nigerians Odun Eweniyi, FK Abuduand Dami Odufuwa plus Dua Lipa, John David Washington, Florence Pugh, Anya Taylor-Joy and Doja Cat.
