Real Madrid scored two late goals in the final minuted via Karim Benzema and Casemiro to earn a 2-2 draw against Borussia Monchengladbach in their Champions League Group B match on Tuesday evening in Germany.

Marcus Thuram scored twice to put the German team ahead with goals in the 33rd minute and 58th minute before Real Madrid responded with less than five minutes to end the contest.

Real Madrid was not off to their best start to this season’s Champions League with the Los Blancos earning just one point in their opening two games.

The 13-time European champions lost their opener to Shakhtar Donetsk, they remain at the bottom of the table with just a point.

Shakhtar Donetsk and Inter Milan played a goalless draw in the other fixture of the Group B. The Ukrainian Champions top the Group with four points, with Borussia Monchengladbach and Milan on the second and third spot with two points each.
