Real Madrid Release The Brazilian Midfielder For Free

Real Madrid has released Lucas Silva and the on the free after the Bernabeu directors and the representative of the Brazilian midfielder reach an agreement to terminate the contract of the former Cruzeiro star.

Silva contract is expected to expire in 2020 but Real Madrid decided to let the Brazilian depart on a free, hence he is now a free agent.The report in Barca indicated that Silva is aiming to reach an agreement with a club in Europe football.  Real Madrid signed the midfielder in the 2014-15 season with a transfer fee of €15 million but he failed to make an impact at the Santiago Bernabeu he was sent on loan to Olympique Marseille but never managed to reach his potential.

Lucas Silva is still 27 years old, so he has plenty of time to turn things around and become a useful player in European football.Silva is not the player he was during his time at Cruzeiro where he was one of the best midfielders back then in his native home Brazil.
