Norwegian midfielder Martin Odegaard is back in training and hoping to be part of Real Madrid for Sunday’s match against Valencia at the Mestalla.
Odegaard picked up an injury prior to the match with Cadiz on October 16. After undergoing tests it was thought the Norwegian would not return to the Real Madrid team until after the next International break, but it looks like Odegaard could be back earlier than expected.
Odegaard joined teammates in training at Valdebebas on Wednesday alongside those who didn’t take part in the Champions League win over Inter Milan on Tuesday.
Los Blancos players who were involved against the Serie A side XI at the Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano spent time in the gym as well as doing some fitness work.
Meanwhile, Nacho, Dani Carvajal and Alvaro Odriozola will all miss the match against Valencia but continued to work indoors.
