Eduardo Camavinga’s support at Real Madrid is growing, and he’s very much seen as a player whose future lies at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.

The Rennes midfielder has been touted as the new Paul Pogba, and he’s
thought to be an ideal candidate to replace Casemiro in the Spanish
capital.

Camavinga is contracted in France until 2022, but
at just 17 he’s already been knocking down doors at the club, even
shining in their win over Paris Saint-Germain this season.

Almost
every big European club has been linked with him since August, but Real
Madrid were one of the first to have scouts monitoring his every step.

MARCA have been keeping tabs on him since September, after his premature explosion in French football’s top tier.

Camavinga
shone so bright that he had an 80 million euro price tag slapped on him
from early on, which had set Madrid back a bit.

But scouts kept watching and feeding positive reports back to the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.

A French call-up was planned for March, but the coronavirus has forced that to be delayed for now.

It
remains to be seen how the transfer market bounces back from this
pandemic, so Camavinga could be on the move for much less than 100
million euros this summer.
