Rivers AAC Guber Candidate Risks Disqualifications As He Flouts INEC Canpaign Rules
The
electoral law of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC)
for political parties campaign timeframe has been disregarded and
bridged, as the Rivers AAC Candidate Engr Awara Biokpombo continues his
campaign less than 24hours into the election date.
The
implications of the bridge of law, according to the Electoral law,
explains that any party or candidate who continues any form of campaign
24hours before that election will be disqualified from participating in
the elections.
According to a video and pictorial evidence, the
Supporters of of thr APC Governorship candidate were spotted in across
several locations in Rivers State pasting posters as youths and adults
took to the street in a sensitization campaign for him for Guber
Candidate who was recently backed by Amaechi’s APC.
Though, the
National party of African Action Congress headed by it’s Presidential
Candidate Sowore dismissed and outrightly rejected the support from the
ruling party following the disqualification of its APC guber candidate
in the state by the court.
