Rodrygo Goes has reassured Real Madrid fans that the players will do whatever it takes to win LaLiga Santander.
Quarantine has not prevented the Brazilian forward from working hard to be fit when football returns.
“I trained at home during the quarantine, I did all the work possible and everything they asked me to get fit for training,” Rodrygo told Real Madrid TV.
“We know that the league will return, and the fans know it too.
“We are working hard to do our best when the competition returns and win the league.”
Rodrygo also explained Los Blancos’ training plan in the first couple of weeks after returning to Valdebebas.
“During the first week it was more individual training and now we can train together in a group, touch the ball and shoot on goal,” he added.
“So, step by step we are returning to normality and gradually picking up our best form.
“We must continue like this.”
The 19-year-old Brazilian had fallen out of favour prior to the coronavirus-enforced stoppage of football, despite being very useful for Zinedine Zidane in the first stretch of the season.
Rodrygo’s challenge is now to convince Zidane that he deserves another opportunity in the matches that remain.
