Saul-Griezmann Swap Deal Talks Under Way

Liverpool remain in the running for Atletico star

Atletico Madrid and Barcelona are in talks over a swap deal involving Saul Niguez and Antoine Griezmann – though Liverpool remain interested in the Atletico Madrid player.

Mundo Deportivo reports that Liverpool had failed to meet Atletico’s €50 million (£42m/$59m) valuation of Spain midfielder Saul, allowing Barca to enter the race by offering Griezmann in exchange.

Negotiations are continuing with all parties however, meaning Saul could yet end up at Anfield if the Reds can reach an agreement over a fee.
