Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos reportedly wants to move to Manchester United after a chat with club legend David Beckham.

Ramos’ current contract expires at the end of the season and he’s ready to quit the Madrid-based giants this summer for the Premier League, according to The Mirror.

And it’s claimed that the 34-year-old has his heart set on a switch to England with Man United his preferred destination.

That’s despite interest from the likes of English champions Liverpool and French title holders Paris Saint-Germain.

Ramos is apparently swaying towards The Red Devils having spoken to former teammate Beckham.

The ex-United No.7 told him about life at Old Trafford during their time together at Real.

Talks over a new deal at the Bernabeu have collapsed which means the player will be available on a free transfer in July.

He is allowed to talk to clubs outside of Spain to seal a pre-contract agreement.

And his agent, brother Rene Ramos, is eyeing Man United with the team unconvinced with PSG.

He has also turned down big offers from Asia because his family are not keen on leaving Europe.

Ramos is expected to earn more than £200,000-a-week having rejected Real’s offer of a new two-year deal when he was asked to take a 10 percent pay cut.

United are no strangers to snapping up ageing stars having signed Edinson Cavani on a lucrative deal.

Similar to Cavani, Ramos would add a wealth of experience to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team.

He has been one of the best performing defenders in world football since moving to Real in 2005.

The World Cup winner has helped his side to Champions League and domestic glory during his glittering career.
