The clampdown on criminal activities in Borno state continued today with many guest houses demolished and many defaulters arrested. A prostitute was beaten and humiliated by security operatives while resisting arrest earlier today in Maiduguri, Borno state capital. This happened during the demolition of hot spots and crime hubs in the metropolis.
According to a Facebook user who posted the pictures, the sex worker who was roughed up by the security men – was forced to sit on the ground and her bag ransacked before she was later arrested along with other young ladies (both old and young) said to be engaging in prostitution at a guest house.
