Simi, whose full name is Simisola Kosoko, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and actress. She rose to prominence in the Nigerian music industry with her hit single “Jamb Question” in 2014. Known for her soulful and melodic vocals, Simi’s music is a fusion of Afro-pop, R&B, and highlife genres.
Simi released her debut studio album, “Simisola,” in 2017, which spawned popular songs like “Joromi,” “Smile for Me,” and “Owanbe.” The album received critical acclaim and earned her numerous award nominations. Simi followed up with her second studio album, “Omo Charlie Champagne, Vol. 1,” in 2019, which featured the hits “Ayo” and “Jericho” featuring Patoranking.
