Simon Paid A Courtesy Visit To Kaduna State Governor

Super Eagles winger Moses Simon paid a courtesy visit to Kaduna Governor Mallam Nasir El-Rufai ably represented by his amiable and lovable deputy Dr Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe after the just-concluded 2019 Africa Cup of Nations. The 24-year-old Levente star who was bred in Kaduna through his formative years and started his football career but the Nigeria international make four appearances and provided two assists after helping Genort Rohr side to claim Bronze in Egypt.The deputy governor and Moses while addressing journalists said she was highly impressed with the performance of the Super Eagles winger during the just concluded 32nd edition. The La Liga winger said: “I am very pleased to be received here in Kaduna state. I am actually from Benue State but grew up in Kaduna. Everything about my life is in Kaduna, so Kaduna is my adoptive state. I am happy to be received in and welcomed here.”I thank the fans who came out in their numbers. I particularly appreciate the state governor Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, the deputy governor Dr Hadiza Balarabe and the commissioner of sports development, Kabiru Mato. This memory is to last a very long time.He concluded by saying, “I wish to give back to the society where I grew up and that’s why I am organising a tournament where we can discover young talents from the grassroots. That’s how I was also discovered here in Kaduna, in the grassroots”.
