Sing-A-thon: Ghanaian singer sets to begin singing marathon to break world record

A Germany-based Ghanaian singer Queenlet has announced her plan to begin a singing marathon to set a Guinness World Record (GWR) for the longest singing marathon by an individual.

Queenlet took to social media to unveil her ambitious plan. According to her, she plans to embark on a sing-a-thon event in Hamburg, Germany, scheduled to commence from July 21 to July 26, 2024.

Her goal is to surpass the current record holder, Sunil Waghmare, who sang continuously for 105 hours in Nagpur, India, from March 3 to 7, 2012.

She wrote;

“It’s an incredible honor to be given the opportunity to attempt a Guinness World Record! It’s a privilege to be recognized by such a prestigious organization and to have the chance to push my limits and see what I’m truly capable of. I’m so excited to share this journey with everyone and hopefully inspire others to chase their own dreams, no matter how big or small.I am please calling on everyone to support me throughout this journey. Thank you
