Yemi Alade, the award-winning Nigerian singer, has penned an emotional note to celebrate her mum on the latter’s birthday.
The Afropop songstress took to her verified Instagram page on Friday to celebrate her mum’s new age.
Sharing pictures of herself and her mum, Alade wrote, “I’m so thankful that you chose me, birthed me, nurtured me ,love me, bless me, tolerate me.. Understand me, guide me.
“I just want to shower you with love and praises for as long as God is on the throne in our lives. Happy birthday Mummy @helenmamaafrica.” (sic)
She also appreciated her make-up artist for “putting this photo session together.”
