Sokoto Assembly Speaker, Rt. Hon Aminu Achida & Hon Bello Maigona Defect To PDP

Sokoto State House of Assembly Speaker, Hon Muhammad Aminu Manya Achida representing Wurno Constituency (APC) has resigned from the Party, defecting to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

In another development, Hon Bello Murtala Maigona representing Wamakko Constituency (APC), has also dumped his Party, defecting to the PDP.

They cited the division in the parallel Congresses of the APC in 20 States of the Federation as reason for their defection.
