South Africa’s Bafana host Super Eagles at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg and the 1996 Afcon winners are urging fans to pack the stadium and “give them the sort of intimidating atmosphere in Jo’burg” ahead of the top of the table clash in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier later this month.

In a 26 seconds video posted on social media on the Bafana official Twitter handle, Head Coach Stuart Baxter made the clarion call to Bafana fans – and possibly the entire South African nation to pack the stadium on November 18.

“As you know we’ve a big game coming up; very important, against Nigeria in AFCON. It will be great to give them the sort of intimidating atmosphere, here, in Jo’burg like they gave us when we visited Nigeria.

“So, get behind your team get behind Bafana; enjoy your day, and let’s try to pull this one off,” the English man appealed with a big grin across his face.
