South African Pastor Denies Resurrecting Man From The Dead

Alleluia Ministries church pastor Alph Lukau who recently became an African focus after he allegedly raised a man from the dead has denied having such power.
Rather, he argues that the man was alive when he arrived at the church.

He said this at an interview with Thabiso Tema on PowerFM’s Power Drive. According to this narrative, he was preaching when he was informed that a man in a coffin had been brought to church by his family.

“Before entering the premises of the church, the coffin began to shake, meaning the person was alive,” Lukau explained. As soon as he was informed that he was alive, he prayed for him causing the man to get up from the coffin.

At this point, the radio host Tema questioned why the family brought the man to his church. In response, he said,

“I am not sure if I can make a statement that he was brought to me. We are the house of God and I’m just a pastor serving in the house of the Lord.”

Instead, he asked that the question is directed to his family. As if that was not enough, after severally avoiding the question on his ability to raise people from the dead, he responded that he can do that only if “God used me as an instrument”.

“I can safely say and clarify that I did not pray to resurrect the person, I don’t want to take that credit. Should God ask me to resurrect somebody and give me grace and the power, by faith I will try that,” said Lukau.

It is noteworthy to add that the church has issued a statement claiming that Lukau did not resurrect the man.

Meanwhile, we reported earlier that the mortuary service, Kings and Queens Funeral services, deny having contact with him and claim that the morturary vehicle used to carry the man was rented by the family.

On another hand, the Commission for the Promotion and Protection of the Rights of Cultural, Religious and Linguistic Communities (CRL Commission) has said the pastor will appear before the commission to explain what had happened.
