Samuel Chukwueze featured as a substitute in Villarreal’s 2-0 away defeat to Valencia at the Estadio de Mestalla on Saturday night , reports Completesports.
Chukwueze replaced Dani Parejo after the break.
The Nigeria international, who is yet to start a game for the Yellow Submarine this season is gradually working his way back to full fitness after sustaining an injury at the end of last season.
The 22-year-old has made four league appearances for Unai Emery’s side since his return from the injury.
Hugo Guillamon and Carlos Soler were on target for Valencia in the game.
