Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has dropped Dani Carvajal and Luka Jovic from the squad that will face Athletic Bilbao on Thursday.
Zidane will give the nod to Lucas Vazquez to cover right back as he is expected to field a strong starting XI.
Carvajal and Jovic will sit out of the game due to injury with the Serbia international closing in on a six-month loan move to former club Eintracht Frankfurt, Karim Benzema is expected to start despite not scoring in the last three games for the Los Blancos, Eden Hazard and Marco Asensio are expected to flank the French striker.
Hazard trained perfectly with his teammates in Rosaleda and he is expected to retain his spot in the starting lineup.
Casemiro, Toni Kroos and Fede Valverde are expected to be the engine room of the team in the midfield, Luka Modric will have some rest and could probably feature in the final if Real Madrid progress.
