Super Eagles star Zaidu Sanusi scored his first Champions League goal in FC Porto 2-0 away over Olympique Marseille on Wednesday night.
The 23-year-old Nigeria international started the match and last for the entire duration of the encounter that saw both teams finished the game with ten men.
Sanusi broke the deadlock in the 39th minute after pouncing on a rebound that came from a corner-kick at the Orange Velodrome to net his for the Dragons since he completed from Santa Clara in the summer.

The Kebbi born left-back was thrilled by scoring his first Champions League goal he said via Porto Twitter handle: “We got three important points and congratulations to the whole team. It is a very important goal in my career, my first in the Champions League.

The Portuguese giants are second in Group C with nine points after four games, behind leaders Manchester City while Marseille sit at the bottom of the table with no point.
Next up for Porto in the Champions League is a home game against Manchester City on December 1, but they visit Sanusi’s former club Santa Clara for their Primeira Liga fixture on Saturday.
