Super Eagles forward Samuel Chukwueze eying to overthrow Senegal international Sadio Mane to African Player of the Year award in the nearest future.
The 21-year-old Villarreal attacker was among of the Golden Eaglets squad that FIFA U-17 World Cup for Nigeria in Chile back in 2015, and has developed into one of the most important players in the Gernot Rohr set up.
Chukwueze impressive rise in European football earned a nomination for the Golden Boy and Kopa trophy award last season and was also named young player of the year for Villarreal which sees Liverpool and Chelsea has been linked with Nigeria international
