Whilst few would go as far to say just when it will end, it’s obvious that Barcelona captain Lionel Messi is entering the twilight years of his career, and an animated cartoon film of his life has been released, entitled ‘Heart of an L10’.
The La Masia graduate has had a hand in the development of the film and it tells the story of how he arrived at the Camp Nou, and became the player we all recognise today.
His time with the youth academy at Newell’s Old Boys is referenced, as well as the problems he had with his physical growth during childhood.
The short film, which is essentially a tale of self-improvement and progress has been sponsored by Gatorade, one of Barcelona’s biggest team sponsors.
