A social media pics showed the moment a dog was seen consuming an unknown substance from a bowl that had been left by the side of the road.

The cat was eating on what was thought to be a sacrifice that a resident had left close to a home.

The dog was contentedly eating the food out of a calabash bowl when a driver who appeared to be returning home late at night got sight of it.
