Tottenham Willing To Pay €60m For Bale

Things are getting interesting at Tottenham Hotspur! After not spending a penny for an entire year and reaching the Champions League final, Spurs are now one of the more interesting clubs on the transfer market. And that could get even more interesting, especially if Marca’s reports turn out to be true. According to this Spanish media outlet, Tottenham are open to paying up to €60m to sign Gareth Bale from Real Madrid this summer. The Welsh star has struggled at Santiago Bernabeu and Zinedine Zidane is ready to let the player go. Real Madrid are also ready to do so if they get a good offer for the player, especially as the club might want to raise money for a late Paul Pogba move. However, things are not going to be that simple. Marca also report that the Premier League side can only pay half of Gareth Bale’s wages, which could be a problem. Those wages are the reason why many clubs have turned themselves away from signing him and the two sides might need to compromise if Bale is to return to his former club. Source:- SoccerNews
