The community’s abandoned overhead bridge and the road connecting it to Epe and Lekki in the affluent Victoria Garden City and Ikota, Eti-Osa Local Government Area of Lagos State, have been taken over by criminals.
According to a report, due of the condition of the road, locals reported they were engaged in conflict with criminals.
Residents complained that the overhead bridge and the road’s construction, which were claimed to have started roughly three years ago, had turned into criminal hideouts, subjecting them to harassment and theft while traffic was backed up.
